Scottish Labour leader Wendy Alexander said she "deeply regrets" that her leadership campaign accepted a payment from businessman Paul Green which broke donation rules.
That's Wendy Alexander, sister to Douglas Alexander, member of Gordo's increasingly less cosy kitchen cabinet.
And she's not the only politician from the Celtic fringes who is "sorry". Though in Peter Hain's case, we all accept that he's prone to "administrative errors", especially with such troublesome things as facts and figures.

Well at least all this funny money business keeps the lost bank details, the betrayal of the armed forces etc etc off the front pages ... not all bad for Labour ... as we concentrate on how they can't run their party .. we forget how they can't run the bloody country either.
What a load of bollocks. Deeply sorry! The sooner the ridiculous rules over donations is dropped, the better.
And whatever you do, Ordo, don't call a Scot English. It's meant to be racist these days.
