A fistful of pennies

Translation of a post by Vaughan Roderick:

It appears that there's more than enough people interested in getting a share of the £200,000 the Assembly Government has earmarked for the Welsh language press. The companies in the running are Dyddiol Cyf., Trinity Mirror, Tinopolis, Golwg and a new company which has been set up by former broadcast reporters (I could guess who, but without being sure).

It's interesting to see that the Tindle company, publishers of Y Cymro and the Cambrian News haven't put themselves forward.

I can only hope Golwg doesn't get it. They clearly have no grip on libel laws when it comes to the Letters section...
